How To Order

Sales Policy

This site will live or die on the trust that the customer places in us. We hope that by delighting the customer, future sales will naturally result when they or their friends want more of the marine items we offer. We expend every effort to make each offered item a thing of beauty and a joy forever. However, by definition these items were pre-owned, and long out of any warrantee period. Therefore we are compelled to apply the following terms of sale:

All items are sold as-is with no reserve.
Prices are subject to change on this site without notice.
All sales are final.
No refunds.
No returns.
No warranties are expressed or implied.
Buyer pays for shipping and handling (see “To place an order below).
We highly recommend that the inherent value of these items be insured for shipping.
At this time we are not accepting international orders, unless the buyer sets up all shipping and handling arrangements. Please resolve any questions prior to placing your order. We promptly reply to all e-mails sent to: tugbrass1@tugboatbrass.com. We would be glad to send different perspective photos of an item that interests you, as attachments, to your e-mail address.
Payments received by money order (Postal money orders only), or cashiers check, will trigger shipping of a standard item on hand on the next business day.
Any options, such as providing a high polish may cause a reasonable delay.
Items purchased by personal check are held for 7 business days to allow the check to clear Federal Reserve routing.
Payments must be received within 10 days of order confirmation or the item will be released to the next buyer in turn, and any late payment received will be returned to the sender.
Sorry we are not able to accept credit or debit cards at this time.

It is our mission to provide a nautical memento that the buyer will take pride in. For any further information needed, before or after purchasing, please send your inquiry to our e-mail address.

To Place an Order

Once you have decided upon what you want, make a list of the items with any options desired (see option lists below), and send it as an e-mail to: tugbrass1@tugboatbrass.com. We will reply to your e-mail with our confirmation order number along with the total item cost, including any selected options. Our reply will also state the shipping method and cost to your location, plus insurance costs if desired. At the time of our confirmation, we will include our mailing address for any standard mail needs.

Any necessary additional work will begin on the item, while we are waiting to receive your payment. As per the above sales policy your item will be shipped via the carrier identified in our confirmation reply. We have found that the use of e-mail for ordering prevents misunderstandings about the order and shipment. This communication is also kept for use as a reference that assures that the delivered purchase will match the order.
