Standard Passageway Light Fixture

• The standard passageway light fixture is of the bulkhead (wall) mounting style.
• The light bulb socket axis is parallel to its mounting surface axis.
• The brass-mounting base is a 3 ½ " diameter cylinder with outside threads for the bronze guard.
• The glass lens is a clear non-color tinted globe.
• The glass lens (globe) is 6-inches long, with 3 5/16 " diameter outside threads.
• The glass lens has 6 threads to the inch. The maximum wattage light bulb for this glass globe is 75 watts.
• The cast bronze guard is 6-inches long, with 8 threads to the inch screw pitch.
• This light fixture has no switch and requires a wall mounted control switch.
• The base has at least one ½ " threaded wire access hole. (Any extra holes are plugged.)
• One ½ " wire anchor is included. (For use with marine style round cables only.)
• All light sockets accept the standard screw base light bulbs.
• All light fixtures can be wired to 115 Volt AC circuits.
• All bulkhead mounted light fixture flanges have 4 screw holes for wall installation.
• The above flange is 4 ½ " in diameter.
• All light fixtures are normally shipped with a burnished metal surface that is not sealed. (Un-lacquered)

Standard Berth Light Fixture

• The standard berth light fixture is of the bulkhead (wall) mounting style.
• This light varies from the standard passageway light fixture in the following respects:
  • The bronze guard is replaced with a brass adjustable light shade to limit glare.
  • The glass lens is 4-inches long and white frosted for reading use.
  • The 4-inch long glass lens limits the light bulb to a maximum of 25 watts.
  • A rotary non-waterproof light switch is integral to the base for local control.

Standard Overhead Light Fixture

• The standard overhead light fixture is of the ceiling mounting type.
• This light varies from the standard passageway light fixture in the following respects:
  • The light bulb socket axis varies 90 degrees from its mounting surface axis.
  • The overhead light base is mounted onto a bronze junction box as a standard feature.

Glass Globes (Lens) For All Light Fixtures

• 6-inch Length: 75 watts maximum
  • The 6-inch long clear glass lens is standard for the passageway and overhead style light fixtures. See "Options" for color tinted, or frosted glass choices in this length.
• 7-inch Length: 100 watts maximum
  • The 7-inch long glass lens is optional. See "Options" for clear glass, or color tinted, or frosted glass choices in this length.

Portholes

• Porthole sizes refer to the diameter of the hole when the porthole is open. The over all diameter is usually 4 inches larger.
• 10-inch portholes weigh approximately 25 pounds without packing.
• 10-inch porthole overall diameter is 14-inches.
• 16-inch portholes weigh approximately 50 pounds without packing.
• 16-inch porthole overall diameter is 20-inches.
• The 10-inch glass lens is 5/8 inches thick.
• The 16-inch glass lens is 7/8 inches thick.
• The 10-inch swing plate is secured by (3) dogs.
• The 16-inch swing plate is secured by (4) dogs.
• All portholes are normally shipped with a burnished metal surface that is not sealed. (Un-lacquered)
